My Sky was Colourful

All this, whatsoever moves in this moving world is pervaded by God. Through such renunciation you may enjoy. Do not covet anybody's wealth for whose indeed is wealth?-The first mantra of the Isa Upanishad

Remembering Lord Krishna and the colours he used to colour our lands and our lives, here once more I played and drenched myself in Holi..the festival of colours. I sometime wonder what if our great country would not have a legend which includes its spiritual, brave and maginificent shades, might have left us with mere blacks and whites or may be gray as a matter of fact.

I enjoyed the colours of Mumbai this year and cannot explain in words how delightful it was. With about eighty percent of the people trying to remain sophisticated and stay away from colours, they finally had to join us, seeing our "Hullor". And when the entire crowd gathered the sky was red and yellow and green and blue...in short my sky was colourful.

I am not sure of the festivals of other countries but yes India has a way to connect with people through its festivals and mostly Holi, as the colours never mind touching the so called 'Untouchables' as well. So, with great Masti and Bindaas enjoyment wishing all of you...Happy Holi.
